Role: Technical Designer
Salary: $55,000-$65,000 per year
FLSA Status: Salary, Exempt
The Opportunity:
We have immediate openings for results-oriented individuals to join our team as a Technical Designer. The Technical Designer operates as a valuable contributor within our Design Department. Identiti’s Design Department creates full concept sign packages for some of the world's most valuable brands while maintaining an exciting employee driven company culture.
We are looking for applicants you have experience in retail interior & exterior signage design and have worked with:
- Exterior Channel Lettersets
- Pylon and Monument Signs
- Directionals
- Undercanopy & Blade Signs
- ADA signage (not required but a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily queue assignments, capacity, and prioritization
- Conduct and document QA reviews and provide actionable feedback
- Create or update training materials and SOPs for their function
- Partner with PM, Production, and Operations on escalations
- Maintain team performance metrics and communicate outcomes to Director
- Assist with onboarding new designers and developing skill progression
Technical Designer Requirements:
- Four-year degree from an accredited university (Preferred)
- Proven leadership/managerial skills
- Experience managing people
- Associate degree or two years of experience in design or a similar role
- Proficiency utilizing Adobe Creative Suite with a high concentration in Illustrator
- Highly organized and able to work under daily goals
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency utilizing email and internet
- Knowledge of CadTools Illustrator Plugin
- Experience working with scaled artwork for production
