UI/UX Designer (Contract) | Fully Remote | £400–£450 per day (Inside IR35)
Inara Talent is partnering with a fast-growing technology scale-up to find a UI/UX Designer who can take products from early ideas to polished interfaces that are a pleasure to use.
This is a fully remote 6-month contract with an immediate start. You’ll join a product team that ships quickly, and your work will reach users straight away.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning end-to-end design, from discovery and user research through wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI
- Working closely with product managers and engineers to shape features and get them shipped
- Turning complex user journeys into simple, clear experiences
- Building on and improving the design system so the product stays consistent as it scales
- Running usability tests and using the results to improve the design
- Presenting your design decisions clearly to stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- Proven commercial experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer, ideally in SaaS, tech or a scale-up
- A strong portfolio that shows how you approach a problem as well as the final screens
- Expert in Figma, including components, auto-layout and prototyping
- Experience with design systems and responsive design across web and mobile
- Comfortable working remotely and on your own, with strong communication skills
- A good grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG)
Nice to have
- Experience in a fast-paced, product-led environment
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or of how designs get built in front-end code
- Experience with user analytics tools such as Hotjar, Mixpanel or Amplitude
