We’re looking for a proactive Creative Operations Assistant to join our team and work closely with our Head of Operations & Marketing.
In this role, you’ll help turn ideas into finished work across design, marketing, content, and day-to-day operations. You’ll design assets, draft content, coordinate projects, and help keep the business moving.
This is a junior or graduate role for someone who is curious, organised, creative, and keen to learn. You don’t need to know everything yet, but you should be comfortable taking initiative, figuring things out, and getting work shipped.
The role will begin as a contractor position for two days per week, with the hope of growing into a long-term, full-time role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design social posts, thumbnails, website graphics, and other marketing assets.
- Write first drafts of emails, blog posts, captions, and marketing copy.
- Schedule and manage content across our social channels.
- Help update our websites, showcases, documents, and internal resources.
- Support product launches, campaigns, events, and ongoing projects.
- Research ideas, competitors, tools, and new opportunities.
- Keep tasks organised and follow up with the people involved.
- Support our Head of Operations & Marketing with whatever needs to get done that week.
- Look for ways to improve how we work and help turn ideas into action.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You’re a junior, graduate, or early-career creative who is eager to learn.
- You know your way around Figma and have a good eye for design.
- You’re a strong communicator and can write a solid first draft.
- You’re organised, reliable, and good at keeping track of details.
- You’ve managed social content for yourself, a small business, a university project, or a side hustle.
- You can take an early-stage idea and run with it until it’s finished.
- You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change.
- You know how to find clarity instead of waiting for every step to be explained.
- You enjoy working across both creative and operational tasks.
- You care about people and communicate like a human.
Experience in tech or startups is helpful, but curiosity, initiative, and follow-through matter more.
BONUS POINTS
- You use Framer or are genuinely curious about learning it.
- You’ve worked in a startup, agency, or small team.
- You have a side project or side hustle—the weirder, the better.
- You’re based in Melbourne and keen to work from our Brunswick office.
