Jersey Road Talent are hiring on behalf of one of the most ambitious digital wagering platforms in Australia! An emerging sports iGaming tech brand that's moving fast, scaling sharp, and redefining the user experience in Sports betting and iGaming.

The role:

Join a successful tight-knit and high-performing engineering team, where you will bring deep Kotlin/Java experience to the table. You’ll own features end-to-end, help shape backend systems at scale, and collaborate across product, design, and tech to bring high-velocity ideas to life.

Core Stack:

• Java (Kotlin) – Core backend language
• React, NodeJS, GraphQL – Frontend & API layers
• AWS – Infrastructure, deployment, and scale

What You’ll Bring:

• Senior-level Kotlin skills with experience shipping production systems
• Strong Java fundamentals and understanding of object-oriented/backend design
• Comfort building and deploying backend APIs, working with GraphQL/REST
• Experience with cloud-native architecture (preferably AWS)
• A product mindset – you think about the why, not just the what
• Exposure to full-stack environments (React/Node) is a plus
• Passion or experience in sports betting, iGaming, or high-scale digital platforms
• Confidence to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

• Experience working on transaction-heavy systems
• An eye for clean code, reusability, and performance
• Prior work in lean, fast-moving teams or startups
• Enthusiasm for sports, wagering, and tech-driven entertainment
