Art Director II (Remote - US)

The Art Director II will lead the conception, design, and production of visually engaging publications and marketing materials, ensuring a consistent and elevated brand aesthetic across multiple properties. • Conceive, design, and produce sophisticated trade publications and collateral materials
• Collaborate with editors and content teams to ensure visual accuracy and effective storytelling
• Develop and maintain visual style guides, design templates, and layouts across multiple publications
• Perform photo and illustration editing, create infographics, and design conceptual art
• Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring compliance with vendor specifications
• Design promotional materials for internal and external clients, maintaining high visual standards
• Track project schedules, communicate production issues, and ensure organizational consistency
• Stay up-to-date on industry design trends, software updates, and competitor creative direction

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional publication print design experience
• Strong creative thinking and resourcefulness, with excellent artistic aesthetic judgment
• Proficiency in design, illustration, and photo editing software (Adobe Creative Suite preferred)
• Exceptional knowledge of typography and print production processes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain organization, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
