This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Associate, Email Designer (HTML) in the United States. This role provides the opportunity to craft visually compelling, responsive emails that drive engagement and support retention and lifecycle marketing initiatives. The Associate, Email Designer will be responsible for coding, testing, and deploying HTML/CSS emails across multiple devices and email clients, ensuring high deliverability and flawless execution. Working closely with CRM associates, designers, and cross-functional teams, you will translate creative concepts into functional email campaigns while maintaining best practices for accessibility and personalization. This role offers exposure to modern ESP platforms, dynamic content implementation, and iterative testing processes, allowing you to make a measurable impact on marketing performance. You will also contribute to improving template libraries and processes for efficiency and scalability. Accountabilities

  • Code, test, and QA responsive HTML/CSS email templates optimized for multiple devices, platforms, and inbox clients
  • Implement dynamic and personalized content using ESP data integrations and automation tools
  • Collaborate with CRM associates and design teams to translate Figma/Adobe files into production-ready templates
  • Ensure accessibility compliance, cross-client compatibility, and adherence to deliverability standards
  • Support A/B and multivariate testing initiatives by coding variations and ensuring tracking is accurate
  • Maintain and update component-based template libraries for efficiency and reusability
  • Troubleshoot rendering issues and collaborate with engineering or ESP support teams as needed
  • Provide technical feedback on design feasibility and workflow improvements

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience coding responsive emails in HTML/CSS, including media queries and table-based layouts
  • Strong understanding of email best practices: responsive design, accessibility, and deliverability
  • Experience with ESPs, preferably Iterable, to build, test, and deploy campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with dynamic content, personalization, segmentation, and automation workflows
  • Proficiency with QA and rendering tools (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid)
  • Experience troubleshooting rendering issues across major email clients and devices
  • Familiarity with A/B or multivariate testing within ESPs
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a track record of accurate and timely execution
