This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of AffiniPay. We are currently looking for a Content Designer in the United States. As a Content Designer, you will shape user experiences by creating clear, engaging, and human-centric content across complex digital products. You will design and optimize in-product messaging, onboarding flows, system notifications, and conversational interfaces, including AI-driven experiences. Working closely with product designers, engineers, and researchers, you will ensure content supports usability, accessibility, and business objectives while anticipating user needs. Your work will directly impact how users engage with products, reduce friction, and enhance satisfaction, all within a collaborative, innovative, and high-growth environment. Accountabilities

  • Craft and structure product content including microcopy, onboarding flows, error messages, and system notifications to guide users confidently
  • Design conversational and multi-modal experiences for chat, voice, and agent-driven workflows, ensuring clarity, trust, and consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—product designers, engineers, and researchers—to define content experiences for features, particularly AI-assisted workflows
  • Contribute to product discovery, usability testing, and iterative content improvements for clarity, conversion, and user satisfaction
  • Maintain and evolve content systems, voice, tone, and style guidelines, documenting reusable patterns and prompts
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to reduce user effort, prevent errors, and deliver proactive, seamless interactions
  • Ensure all AI-driven and automated content meets accessibility, ethical, transparency, and brand standards

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or content strategy, preferably with SaaS or complex digital products
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered content work, including conversational or AI-driven experiences
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility best practices, and content design methodologies
  • Experience collaborating with product designers, engineers, and researchers to influence user experiences
  • Excellent writing skills—clear, concise, and adaptable to multiple tones and contexts
  • Familiarity with conversational UI design, AI-assisted content creation, and large language models
  • Ability to balance tactical deliverables with contributions to long-term content systems
  • Bonus: Experience in fintech, legaltech, or other regulated industries, prompt design, AI response tuning, or service design for multi-modal experiences
