This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer, Commerce in United States. As a Senior Product Designer on the commerce team, you will shape innovative, intuitive experiences that empower small business owners and solopreneurs to grow and scale their ventures. You will lead design initiatives from research through execution, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, content, and research. This role emphasizes holistic, persona-driven solutions that enhance user engagement and drive business outcomes. You will be a key influencer, bringing design expertise, storytelling, and strategic thinking to ensure product solutions are both usable and impactful. Your contributions will help define the commerce experience, integrating seamlessly into a larger product ecosystem while elevating the overall customer journey. Accountabilities

  • Lead design of holistic, scalable commerce experiences, including webinars, digital asset sales, and monetization tools
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, content designers, and researchers to translate business goals and user insights into effective design solutions
  • Conduct user research, build personas, and map user journeys to inform design decisions and validate concepts
  • Develop and maintain design patterns in partnership with the design system team
  • Communicate design approaches effectively through storytelling, inspiring alignment and understanding across cross-functional teams
  • Ensure usability and accessibility standards are met by engaging directly with customers and incorporating feedback
  • Provide design mentorship and direction across projects, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with business objectives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering digital product experiences in product-led B2B or B2C companies
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating quality persona-based work, including activation and engagement projects
  • Experience integrating new product lines into existing product suites
  • Exceptional design storytelling and communication skills to articulate solutions to peers and leadership
  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and team processes to deliver practical and impactful designs
  • Experience designing for commerce, solopreneurs, or small business owners is a plus
  • Flexibility to work across multiple projects and teams, providing design expertise and strategic guidance
  • Authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored immigration support

  • Competitive base salary depending on location:
  • Tier 1 (San Francisco, San Jose, New York City): $206,218 - $260,805
  • Tier 2 (Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Portland, Seattle, Miami, other CA cities): $189,034 - $239,072
  • Tier 3 (all other locations): $171,849 - $217,338
