Frontend Engineer I

Role: Frontend Developer (Remote)

Location: Remote

Payout: $20 - $120/hour

Role Overview

We are hiring a Frontend Developer to build fast, accessible, and beautiful web interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. In this role, you will work closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver pixel-perfect, performant user experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, cares about accessibility, and writes clean, typed code.

Key Responsibilities

- Build responsive, accessible UIs with React, Next.js, or Vue.

- Write type-safe TypeScript that scales across a growing codebase.

- Implement design systems, animations, and interactive components.

- Optimize for Core Web Vitals, accessibility (WCAG 2.2), and mobile-first experiences.

- Integrate with REST, GraphQL, or WebSocket APIs.

- Collaborate with designers and contribute to design-engineering alignment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2+ years of professional frontend development experience.

- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.

- Deep React experience (hooks, context, server components, modern state libraries).

- Understanding of component architecture, design systems, and responsive CSS.

- Experience with Git, code review, and automated testing.

- Portfolio, GitHub, or production examples to share.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Tailwind, Radix, or shadcn/ui.

- Animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP) or 3D (Three.js, React Three Fiber).

- Secondary language such as Rust (WASM) or Go.

- E-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento) or AI product experience.

- Understanding of SSR, ISR, edge rendering, or build optimization.
