Senior Product Designer - Design Systems

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a design system at a pivotal stage of growth within a fast-scaling, tech-driven environment. You will define the vision, strategy, and governance of a robust design system that supports a global product used by thousands of users. Working closely with both design and engineering teams, you’ll bridge the gap between creativity and implementation, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on product design, allowing you to shape both the system and end-user experiences. • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and continuous evolution of the design system, ensuring scalability and long-term value
• Design, build, and maintain reusable components, patterns, and comprehensive documentation for consistent product development
• Establish strong collaboration frameworks between design and front-end engineering teams to improve workflows and ownership
• Drive adoption of the design system across teams through advocacy, training, and support
• Contribute to product development by designing and delivering features end-to-end, from research to high-fidelity execution
• Explore and integrate AI tools and methodologies to enhance design processes and innovation
• Influence stakeholders and foster a culture of systems thinking and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on building and scaling design systems
• A compelling portfolio demonstrating expertise in both design systems and user-centered product design
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React
• Proven experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on component-based architectures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and advocate for design decisions and long-term strategies
• Experience defining vision, driving initiatives, and leading change within cross-functional teams
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to experiment and innovate in design workflows
