About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer based in United Kingdom.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape intuitive, engaging, and trustworthy experiences for a B2B SaaS platform focused on customer and partner referral programs. Working closely with product and engineering teams, you will take ownership of design initiatives from early discovery and problem definition through prototyping, validation, and launch. You will improve existing product experiences while identifying opportunities to introduce new solutions that address user needs and business objectives. Your work will span product interfaces, embedded experiences, and design systems, ensuring consistency across digital touchpoints. In a collaborative, fast-moving environment, you will have the autonomy to influence product direction and contribute to the evolution of design practices. You will also help build a strong design culture through thoughtful collaboration, experimentation, and systems thinking. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on product quality and the way users interact with integrated software experiences.

Accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end product design: Partner with product managers and engineers to transform roadmap initiatives into effective solutions, guiding projects from initial problem definition and exploration through design, validation, and launch.
  • Improve existing user experiences: Identify usability challenges and opportunities across the platform, delivering both significant redesigns and incremental enhancements that improve clarity, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
  • Create design concepts and prototypes: Develop low- and high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and visual explorations to communicate ideas, test assumptions, and validate design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain design systems: Contribute to scalable design systems that support consistency across product interfaces, marketing materials, and brand experiences.
  • Design embedded product experiences: Create interfaces that integrate naturally into third-party products, ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and trustworthy experience for end users.
  • Influence product strategy: Bring user-centered design thinking into product discussions, helping teams understand user needs, evaluate trade-offs, and make informed decisions about product direction.
  • Strengthen design culture: Collaborate across disciplines, share design knowledge, promote effective design practices, and contribute to the continued development of the organization's product thinking.
  • Explore new design approaches: Experiment with emerging design tools and workflows to improve collaboration, accelerate iteration, and enhance the quality of design outcomes.

Requirements

  • Professional experience: At least five years of product design experience, ideally working on SaaS products and complex digital experiences.
  • Strong design craft: Demonstrated expertise in visual design, interaction design, product thinking, and brand expression, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear and engaging interfaces.
  • Systems thinking: Ability to understand how individual features fit into broader product ecosystems, apply established design patterns where appropriate, and develop new approaches when existing solutions fall short.
  • Design tools and prototyping: Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools, with an interest in exploring new technologies and design workflows to support effective ideation and validation.
  • User-centered problem-solving: Ability to understand user needs, identify usability challenges, and balance customer expectations, business goals, technical constraints, and design quality.
  • Collaboration and communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, including in asynchronous and distributed teams.
  • Ownership and adaptability: A proactive, independent approach to work, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage changing priorities, and move projects forward without constant direction.
  • Attention to detail: Commitment to delivering polished, consistent, accessible, and intuitive product experiences while maintaining a clear understanding of the broader product vision.
  • Additional experience (a plus): Familiarity with embedded products, developer-facing tools, data-intensive interfaces, or AI-assisted product experiences is an advantage.
  • Location eligibility: Ability to work remotely from within Europe, with a location within three hours of Central European Time. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation: A competitive salary package reflecting your experience, skills, and contribution. A specific salary range has not been disclosed.
  • Equity participation: Access to employee virtual stock option plans (eVSOPs), providing an opportunity to participate in the company's potential long-term growth.
  • Remote work flexibility: Work remotely from within Europe, provided your location is within three hours of Central European Time.
  • End-to-end design ownership: Take responsibility for product design initiatives from early discovery through implementation and launch.
  • Creative autonomy: Influence design decisions, explore new ideas, and help shape the direction of a growing B2B SaaS product.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to develop thoughtful solutions that balance user needs and business objectives.
  • Professional growth: Expand your experience across product design, design systems, embedded interfaces, and emerging design tools.
  • Opportunity to shape design culture: Contribute to design practices and product thinking in a collaborative, evolving environment.
