Senior / Tech Lead QA

This role sits at the heart of a fast-moving product team building a non-custodial crypto wallet, crypto card, and a growing suite of investing and payments products. You will ensure the quality and reliability of high-stakes financial and blockchain-based systems used to manage user assets in real time. Working in an environment with frequent releases, you will help define how quality is engineered across mobile apps and backend services. The position blends hands-on testing, technical QA leadership, and deep collaboration with engineering and product teams. You will play a key role in shaping QA strategy, improving automation effectiveness, and strengthening production stability. This is a highly technical role where your expertise directly influences product trust, safety, and user experience in a crypto-first environment. Accountabilities You Will Own QA Strategy And Execution Across Mobile, Backend, And Internal Systems, Ensuring High-quality Releases In a Fast-paced Crypto Product Environment

• Ensure end-to-end quality of iOS, Android, backend services, and internal tools across frequent production releases
• Test complex fintech and crypto flows including transactions, swaps, custody, KYC, and asset management operations
• Drive effective collaboration between QA and engineering on automated testing strategy, coverage validation, and test case design
• Define, implement, and maintain QA standards, metrics, and reporting frameworks (defect rate, escape rate, CFR/LT, coverage)
• Monitor production stability using observability tools (Sentry, Firebase, Grafana) and lead incident analysis and post-mortems
• Mentor a QA engineer and contribute to improving QA maturity, processes, and best practices across the team
• Partner with product, engineering, and design teams to influence product quality and release readiness decisions
• Contribute to QA strategy, helping define how quality is measured, enforced, and improved across the product lifecycle

Requirements This role requires deep QA expertise combined with strong crypto/fintech understanding and hands-on experience in mobile and API testing environments. You should be comfortable operating in high-responsibility, fast-release product teams:

• 7+ years of QA experience, including at least 3 years focused on mobile applications (iOS/Android)
• Strong background in fintech or crypto products, with understanding of financial transaction risks and compliance expectations
• Practical knowledge of crypto wallet systems, including blockchain fundamentals, seed phrases, token standards (ERC-20, BEP-20), swaps, and bridges
• Strong manual testing expertise across mobile and API tools (e.g., Postman, Charles Proxy)
• Experience defining and validating automated test coverage in collaboration with developers
• Familiarity with QA metrics and reporting frameworks such as defect rate, escape rate, and test coverage analysis
• Experience working with monitoring and logging tools such as Sentry, Firebase, or Grafana
• Understanding of performance and load testing principles, with hands-on exposure considered a plus
• Proven ability to mentor QA engineers and improve QA processes in a collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher), with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
