Job Description

Posted on: September 16, 2026

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UI/UX Developer based in the United States.

This is a senior-level opportunity to shape user experiences for mission-critical financial applications undergoing significant modernization.

You will combine frontend engineering expertise with UX thinking to build secure, accessible, and high-performing digital interfaces.

The role centers on React-based single-page applications, API integrations, responsive design, and complex workflow experiences.

You will translate intricate business processes into intuitive reconciliation, exception-management, and approval workflows.

Working closely with backend, reporting, ingestion, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams, you will help deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.

Your work will also contribute to modernizing legacy financial systems toward cloud-enabled and server-based architectures.

This fully remote position offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership while solving challenging problems at enterprise scale.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the design and development of React single-page applications using modular, component-driven architectures, client-side routing, and robust state-management approaches.
  • Build intuitive workflow experiences for reconciliation, out-of-balance investigations, exception management, drilldowns, multi-step approvals, and audit-driven interactions.
  • Develop responsive interfaces using modern CSS techniques, including Grid, Flexbox, and media queries, ensuring consistent experiences across devices and screen sizes.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs using secure data-handling practices, schema validation, structured error management, protected routes, session controls, and safe rendering patterns.
  • Optimize frontend performance for data-intensive dashboards, reconciliation screens, transaction-heavy interfaces, and complex workflows.
  • Apply WCAG accessibility principles through semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and accessible interaction patterns.
  • Troubleshoot complex UI state transitions, routing behavior, asynchronous data flows, and integration issues to ensure reliable and predictable application behavior.
  • Collaborate with backend, ingestion, reporting, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to align frontend development with broader application and delivery requirements.
  • Document reusable UI components, interaction patterns, integration contracts, design standards, and UX guidelines to support maintainability and future enhancements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance while helping translate client business processes into effective user experiences and modern application functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in UI/UX development and implementation, with substantial experience delivering enterprise-grade frontend applications.
  • Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, SPA architecture, and component-driven development.
  • Hands-on experience with React Router and state-management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API, as well as asynchronous data flows.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern CSS, responsive design, and frontend architecture patterns.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs with secure data handling, validation, error management, and reliable session workflows.
  • Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards, ARIA, semantic HTML, and accessible frontend development practices.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities across UI state, routing, asynchronous workflows, and API integrations.
  • Experience with complex enterprise workflows such as reconciliation, exception management, transaction processing, or multi-step approvals is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with frontend performance optimization, CI/CD and DevOps practices, design systems, reusable component libraries, and UX documentation is preferred.
  • Exposure to backend platforms, data ingestion, reporting systems, or other enterprise technologies that support end-to-end workflows is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, engineering, QA, infrastructure, and other multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person. The position does not require a security clearance.

Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary range of approximately $171,507–$232,039, depending on experience, location, and other applicable factors.
  • Fully remote work environment with a full-flex work week designed to support flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options, including plans with Health Savings Accounts.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching and pre-tax/post-tax contribution options.
  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick and personal leave, plus paid holidays.
  • Paid parental leave, military leave, bereavement leave, and jury duty leave.
  • Paid Family Leave program providing up to 160 hours during a rolling 12-month period for eligible employees.
  • Short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, and additional protection options.
  • Personal accident, critical illness, and business travel and accident insurance options.
  • Wellness and comprehensive employee benefits designed to support professional and personal well-being.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, internal mobility, and continued development in software and technology.
