Kiwanis UK is seeking two enthusiastic volunteer Social Media & Digital Communications Assistants to join our national communications team for the 2026–2027 administrative year.

This is an excellent opportunity for university or college students studying:

or anyone looking to gain practical experience managing social media for a national charity and volunteer organisation.

What you’ll do

Working alongside the National Communications Team, you’ll help:

  • Create engaging content for Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Design simple graphics using Canva
  • Schedule social media posts
  • Promote community service projects and national events
  • Assist with photography and short-form video content (where available)
  • Monitor engagement and suggest new content ideas
  • Help tell the stories of Kiwanis volunteers making a difference across the UK
