Are you an experienced designer with a passion for transforming complex data and B2B workflows into seamless, intuitive user experiences?
We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join a growing, tech-forward company working with modern, state-of-the-art technologies. In this role, you will own the end-to-end design lifecycle, from discovery to handover, making dense analytical software legible, accessible, and user-friendly.
⚠️ Important Note: While the role is fully remote, candidates must be located in Malta or willing to relocate permanently.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Ownership: Drive discovery, shape flows and interactions, hand off precise engineering assets, and stay involved through review and implementation.
- Design Systems: Design against and extend the shared design system (utilising component libraries, tokens, and publishing usage guidance).
- User Research & Validation: Conduct usability testing, user interviews, and validation sessions with internal domain experts to turn insights into prioritised product features.
- Complex Data Visualisation: Make dense analytical work legible through thoughtful design of large result sets, tables, timelines, relationship graphs, and map surfaces.
- Accessibility & Quality: Ensure high standards for interaction quality, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), keyboard navigation, and responsive states.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years designing complex B2B, platform, or operational products.
- Figma Expertise: Advanced mastery at a systems level (component libraries, variants, properties, and tokens).
- Technical Collaboration: Proven experience working directly inside cross-functional teams with Product Managers and engineers (collaborating closely with React/Storybook implementations).
- Portfolio Requirement: At least one case study highlighting a data-dense analytical product where your individual contribution is clear.
- Accessibility Knowledge: Built-in practical understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
