This is primarily a hands-on design role, covering everything from research and flows to final layouts. About LeylineLeyline is an independent studio building a deep PvE auto-battler roguelike. Our team has shipped games like Hearthstone and Legends of Runeterra. We released the Guildrun demo in July 2026 and it has since reached over 500,000 players. UX Designer

Why this role LearnWorlds helps creators, educators and organizations build and grow learning businesses. We're a profitable, product-led SaaS company with customers in more than 150 countries. Our product serves two audiences at once: the people who build and run online schools, and the learners who use them. Designing well for both is what makes the work interesting. AI is changing how products get made, and design along with it. A product direction might now begin as a PM prototype, an engineering experiment, customer feedback, AI output, or a designer's own idea. The designer's job is to judge what is worth pursuing and make it better, with the whole product in mind. With time to market shrinking, we're looking for a Product Designer who notices what could be better and acts on it. Someone who gets hands-on and uses AI to expand what they can take on, without lowering the bar on quality or product thinking. How You'll Work Here You work across the whole platform You're not tied to one product area. You design for both admin and learner experiences, moving between focused UI and interaction improvements, complex workflow-heavy flows, AI-enabled experiences, and our shared patterns and design system. You create momentum You don't wait for every problem to become a ticket. You notice gaps and opportunities, then decide what is worth fixing and move it forward. Context will often be incomplete. Creating clarity is part of the job. You know when to push Good judgment matters as much as craft. You know when to challenge a direction, simplify it, keep going, or stop. You care about quality without treating every detail as equally important. Bring an opinion and explain it. Be ready to change it when someone has a better one. You multiply your impact with AI AI should increase the amount and range of work you can meaningfully take on. Use it throughout the work: explore and prototype, get up to speed on unfamiliar areas, test and critique ideas, and automate low-value tasks. You use AI to take on more without giving up the judgment that makes the work good, and you can explain what it contributed, what you rejected, and how you made the final call. You Make The Work Better With Others Reporting directly to the Head of Product Design, you work closely with Product Managers, engineers, instructional designers and fellow Product Designers, and you stay involved until the thing works. You can challenge an idea without making it personal, and you can be challenged without getting defensive. Strong opinions, lightly held. No ego, no politics. You bring something distinctive There should be something you're unusually good at. We don't need to define it for you, but we should feel the difference in the work and in the team. Meeting the brief is expected. Bringing useful ideas beyond it is what will make you stand out. You have the fundamentals You have strong product and UI craft and can take work from problem to delivery. Ideally, you have professional experience designing SaaS, B2B or other complex digital products. You're comfortable with changing priorities. You communicate clearly, work autonomously, and can drive initiatives forward when needed. You know when to use existing patterns and when they need to change. Requirements

This is a mid-level role. We expect roughly 3 or more years of professional product design experience, but we care more about evidence than exact years

A portfolio is required. Show strong work and be clear about what you owned, why you made the decisions you did, and what changed because of them. Where AI was part of your process, tell us what it contributed and where your own judgment took over

Strong English is required. It's our daily working language

We're a fully remote European team with offices in Athens, Crete and Limassol

We don't offer relocation or visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must already have the legal right to work remotely from their country of residence, subject to LearnWorlds' hiring eligibility requirements

Practical exercises are part of the hiring process (see below)

Recruitment process We want each step to tell us something different about how you work. The process is designed to stay focused while giving both sides enough evidence to make a good decision.

Application and practical assessment. Alongside your CV and portfolio, you'll answer a small set of role-specific questions and complete a short 10 min observation exercise

Talent acquisition conversation. A conversation about your motivation, expectations, availability and practical fit for the role

Design task and cognitive assessment. You'll have a week to work on a focused product design task and complete a short cognitive assessment. AI is welcome as part of your process

Live design review and conversation with the Head of Product Design. We'll review your work together, challenge decisions, discuss trade-offs, and talk about how you work, collaborate and make decisions

Final conversation with the CPO. A final discussion about product judgment, ambition, and alignment with where LearnWorlds is heading

Benefits

Private life and health insurance plan

Fully remote work if you prefer to work from home, apart from when we have team meetings a few times per year

Your personal annual training budget

An annual home office allowance to set up your personal space

Company laptop & monitor

23 days of paid time off

3 early summer Fridays in July and August

Access to AI tools at work

A free LearnWorlds School to build and sell your own courses

Company retreats & other onsite team activities (see the video of our latest retreat)

Senior Product Designer (Full Remote - Netherlands)

Spate is a trend intelligence platform for consumer brands in beauty, wellness, and food and beverage. We analyze anonymous, aggregated public consumer data to spot emerging trends early and explain why they're growing, so brands can make product and marketing decisions with confidence. Our founders, Yarden Horwitz and Olivier Zimmer, started Google's Trendspotting division and called trends like turmeric, cold brew, and face masks before they went mainstream. Spate is Y Combinator-backed, and more than 200 brands use it, including Sephora, L'Oréal Paris, Estée Lauder Companies, Unilever, P&G, and e.l.f. Our data regularly appears in The New York Times, WWD, British Vogue, and The Business of Fashion. About The Role We're hiring our first dedicated product designer, full-time, to shape Spate's core product: the dashboard where brand teams explore trends, build reports, and work with our AI assistant. Our platform will change a lot over the next year or two as we rebuild around LLM-powered features. We already ship an AI Assistant, AI Reports (an LLM-powered dashboard builder), and in-dashboard summaries and analysis. We need someone who can work out what those experiences should be, not just how they should look. Our users are brand innovation teams, product marketers, social media teams, and agencies. Most aren't data analysts, so much of the job is turning dense trend data into something clear and actionable. You'll join the Frontend & UX team, four people including you, and report to our frontend lead. The role is fully remote, and we're hiring in the UK, central Europe, and Latin America, where many of our team already work. You'll need to be based between US Central Time (UTC−6) and Central European Time (UTC+1). We require you to be available for core collaboration hours of 9:00 AM-12:00 PM Eastern (2:00-5:00 PM UK, 3:00-6:00 PM CET or your local equivalent). This is a remote, Full-time employee position. What You'll Own The product, not just the screens. At Spate, product design and UI/UX design happen together. Features aren't fully defined and then handed to a designer. You'll help decide what we build and why, and stay involved from the first conversation to launch. You'll work with our frontend lead to choose the right deliverable for each problem: a written proposal, a user flow, a prototype, or a full Figma spec. Finding problems worth solving. Find user pain points on your own, through customer calls, interviews, feedback, and usage data. Then take them from problem to proposal: frame the problem, explore options, and make the case for a direction. Leadership sets the overall direction and can help point you at problems, but you won't need our input to get started. How our AI features work. Decide when something should be a chat, a report, or an inline summary. Define how we show where an insight came from, and how we handle loading, uncertainty, and wrong answers. Help shape the voice and structure of AI-generated insights, because in an LLM product the words are part of the UX. The design system. We have a Figma library and a React component library that are only loosely in sync. You'll own the system's principles and the Figma side, and partner with our frontend engineers to make the two a single source of truth. The goal is that everyday design decisions are answered by the system, so engineers can ship UI that feels like Spate without waiting on design. This includes data visualization standards and patterns for AI features. The feedback loop, with our frontend lead. Co-own product metrics, user feedback tracking, and quality evaluation for our LLM features. A big part of this is defining what a good AI answer looks like for our users, and turning that into rubrics we can measure. Requirements What we're looking for We care more about mindset than years of experience. You're driven, you care about making a good product, and you have a growth mindset. You value autonomy and self-direction.

3+ years of product design experience, ideally owning features end to end in a B2B or SaaS product

Strong product opinions. You think about what to build and why, not just how it looks, and you're comfortable defending and revising your ideas

A portfolio that shows how you framed problems, not just how you solved them. At least one case study should start from a fuzzy problem with no spec

Experience designing data-heavy products such as dashboards, analytics, or reporting tools

You've worked within or contributed to a design system, and understand how components and patterns scale

Real curiosity about AI products, ideally with some hands-on exploration

Strong written communication in English. We're remote, so your proposals and decisions need to stand on their own

Fluent in Figma, with AI tools in your everyday workflow

Nice to have

Experience as the first or only designer on a team

You've built or substantially evolved a design system that engineers adopted

Experience designing AI features, or writing evaluation rubrics for LLM output

Depth in data visualization

Familiarity with consumer goods, beauty, food, or marketing and insights tools

Comfort building quick functional prototypes with AI tools to test ideas against real outputs

Your first 90 days

First 30 days: Learn the product and the people who use it. Review customer calls, feedback and usage data, and audit the Figma library against our React components. Ship one small, real improvement

By day 60: Publish a map of our users' top pain points and goals. Take one meaningful feature from pain point to agreed proposal, with prototypes

By day 90: Have the design system's first principles documented and in use. Start co-owning metrics, feedback tracking, and LLM evals with our frontend lead

How We Work Contributors at Spate work flexibly, with few meetings, a lot of impact, and real say over the direction of their work. Leadership sets product direction and priorities, and you shape how we get there. That means bringing proposals rather than waiting for briefs. This isn't the right place if you need every decision approved or every project precisely spec'd before you start. Our aesthetic is cool, smart, data-driven, and approachable. We want a designer who can hold that line while the product changes quickly. This role does not include:

Writing production code. Figma is your main tool, and our frontend engineers build

Brand and marketing design, such as the website, sales decks, or client reports

Our API and MCP server, which another team owns for now

This role does not include:

Writing production code. Product Designer (Intl. - Full-time)

Senior Product Designer @ SecfixLocation: Remote (EMEA) · CET/CEST timezone Hi — I'm Grigory, co-founder and CTO at Secfix. How do you feel about owning a feature from the first customer conversation to the version that's live on production — writing the spec yourself, pairing closely with engineers through the build, and overseeing your design shipped on production exactly the way you designed it? If that sounds like the right shape of the job — designer who owns, not designer who hands off — read on.I've spent most of my career believing the best designers aren't the ones with the prettiest Figma files. They're the ones who can frame a problem, write a spec, sit with engineers through the build, and own that what shipped is what they designed. Our founding product designer, Ghada, has been doing exactly that since we started. The engineering team has doubled and we're shipping faster than we ever have. We're hiring the second designer because there's more good work to do than one person can hold — and we'd rather ship twice as much than slow down. Why Secfix exists Over 1.78 million SMBs in Europe need to comply with security frameworks — ISO 27001, GDPR, TISAX, SOC 2 — just to sell to enterprise customers. The process is manual, painful, and takes over a year. We automated it.Our platform integrates with a company's full tech stack — AWS, Azure AD, Jira, GitLab, GCP, and more — automatically extracts compliance evidence, and guides teams to certification in weeks instead of months. Our fastest customer certified in 4 weeks instead of the industry-standard 12+ months. We've raised €17M in total (€12M Series A), backed by Alstin Capital, Neosfer (Commerzbank), and Bayern Capital. We're on a profitable trajectory, growing fast, and building the team that will take us to European market leadership. This space is not threatened by AI, it's amplified by it. Compliance requires deep domain expertise combined with automation. Our new AI product (CISO AI) is just getting started, and there's a huge amount of product design work ahead: agentic workflows, intelligent evidence collection, context-aware policy generation, and more. What we believe Compliance software has historically been built like the audit it automates — heavy, defensive, ugly. We're building something else. The customer is a real person trying to ship audit-ready evidence on a Friday afternoon. The product should respect their time, automate the boring parts, and make the rest feel calm.Quality is the product. Most of our category competes on feature lists. We compete on craft. A clear empty state, a sync that doesn't lie, a settings page that holds together at eleven permission tiers — these are the things customers feel before they can name them. Design at Secfix is not what wraps the product. It's most of what makes it work. What the role is We expect strong design skill, strong product thinking, and the ability to hold your own in a technical discussion. You work in a small team — usually with one or two engineers — and pair closely from the first prototype through to production. You own the project from beginning to end.Alongside the features you ship, you do three things that make everyone else faster:

Maintain the components and patterns that make design fast.

Own how the team ships. We have no PMs. You write the specs, run the ticketing workflow, keep engineers unblocked.

Build the tools and skills — Cursor rules, design QA skills, prompt templates — that let engineers do good design work without you in the room.

The leverage is doing all four well. Doing only one is the wrong shape. How we work

No PMs. Designers and engineers run product. You talk to customers, frame the problem, write the spec, decide what ships.

Small temporary teams. You plus one or two engineers per project. Whoever is closest to the problem leads.

Design leads the logic, engineering tests feasibility. You bring the V1. Engineers push back on what's expensive or risky, start ahead with system design. They help spot edge cases. You adjust it fast. We get from v1 to v4 in matter of hours or few days.

Prototype-grade, not wireframes. Real components, real states, real copy. Sometimes an LLM-built prototype before Figma. The component library stays current because the speed of design depends on it.

Handoff is the beginning, not the end. You're in the engineering channel. You review the PR. You verify on production. Staging QA is the first gate, not the last.

In-sync culture with thoughtful coms mindset. Loom for reviews, Notion for specs, quick loops in Gather where written coms doesn’t cut it, all happening in the same time zone. Team mates are reviewing things quick. Engineers and designers spend under two hours weekly meetings.

AI is part of the craft. We use Claude to pressure-test ideas, draft specs, surface edge cases, write test cases. Not to skip thinking.

The first three months

Month 1. Ship your first design to production. Get into the codebase, the customer language, the way we write specs. Sit on customer calls.

Month 2. Own a full feature end-to-end. Customer conversations, problem framing, Figma, spec, engineer pairing, PR review, production verification.

Month 3 and beyond. Push the design system forward. Start building the tools and skills that make engineers faster at design. Improve the product design process. The bar is yours to defend.

Who you are

8+ years designing B2B SaaS desktop applications as Staff/Principal Product Designer or similar. Dense interfaces — tables, filters, permissions, settings pages.

You've been the only designer, or one of two or three, in companies under 50 people at least once before. You know how to set the bar without a design org behind you.

Your portfolio is "I," not "we." You can name the engineer you paired with on each feature, the design decision you defended through the build, and what happened when the feature reached users.

You communicate clearly and concise in English: in Slack, in docs and on a call.

You're fast in Figma with or without AI. You’re already in a serious relationship with LLMs.

You treat engineering feasibility as input, not constraint. When an engineer says "three weeks, here's why," you find the version that's 80% as good and ships next week.

You're comfortable doing product work without the PM title.

You hear feedback and come back the next day with something better. You don't spend the hour in between defending the version that's already outdated.

CompensationSalary + equity based on experience. The offered compensation depends on the individual's qualifications assessed during the interview process. What we offer

Generous equity. Everyone is an owner.

26 days holiday + local public holidays.

Comprehensive health insurance.

€1,000 annual personal development budget.

Remote workspace and co-working budget.

Latest equipment.

Team summits 1-2x per year. Recent ones: Costa Brava, Austrian Alps, Milan.

Local hubs in Munich, Berlin, London. Visa support if you want to relocate.

Interview process We aim to invite you to a first conversation within a week and give feedback after every stage.

Intro call with talent team (~45 min)

Portfolio conversation with product designer (~45 min)

Collaborative design task (compensated, a couple of hours over the span of 2-3 days)

Final interview with Grigory (~60 min)

Order may flex depending on availability. If you make it to the exercise and don't get an offer, we'll tell you specifically what got in the way.
