Location: Kenilworth, New JerseyJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $44 - 47 per hourOur esteemed pharmaceutical client is actively looking for a PART-TIME Medical Editor with experience in Medical Communications to join their forward-thinking MedComms team in a remote freelance capacity!Our client's Editorial team primarily (but not exclusively) reviews branded material for the Medical Communications division. Content can include graphic/print design, digital (including Web sites, interactive pdfs, and presentations), videos, and medical education material such as slides and presentations. Fact checking will be a primary duty for this opportunity. This role is a remote, open-ended freelance contract. In order to be considered, candidates must have pharmaceutical / medcomms industry-related experience - specifically an ELS (Editor Life Sciences) Certification. An editing test will be given.Responsibilities: Copyedit materials for grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Fact check content against source material. Prepare jobs for internal review using Veeva Vault MedComms. Collaborate with copywriters and other team members as needed. Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field (eg English, journalism, life sciences). Minimum 5+ years' experience editing and fact checking pharmaceutical, medical, and/or scientific materials, preferably within an agency environment. Previous work on MedComms is a plus as well as experience anchoring/linking in Veeva Vault MedComms. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
