6 - Month Position May – October 2026Remote Eligible Competitive hourly pay rate will reflect experience, skills, and qualifications Little League® International is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Temporary Graphic Designer to join our team for a six-month assignment from May through October 2026. In this role, you will help bring the Little League brand to life through engaging visual design that supports marketing campaigns, special events, and global communications. This position also provides hands-on experience creating visual content for one of the most recognized youth sporting events in the world — the Little League Baseball and Softball World Series. With a flexible, May start date lasting six months into October, this position is remote eligible, with preference given to candidates within commuting distance of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This opportunity is ideal for recent graphic design graduates and freelancers looking to gain real-world experience in sports and event design while contributing to creative projects supporting Little League programs and global events that can enhance their professional portfolios. About Little League International Located in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, we are the administrative and operational headquarters for Little League Baseball and Softball, the leading nonprofit youth sports organization with 85+ years of history supporting youth baseball and softball. Little League® is played in approximately 6,500 communities across more than 80 countries around the world. What You’ll Do As a Temporary Graphic Designer, you will use your artistic and creative abilities, along with your technical expertise and high-quality standards to collaborate with our Creative team, along with other departments across the organization, to develop engaging visual content supporting Little League programs and events worldwide. Responsibilities Include
- Designing digital and print materials supporting marketing campaigns and organizational initiatives
- Assisting with creative development for Little League World Series events
- Producing event signage and large-format graphics
- Supporting email, web, and digital promotions
- Collaborating with the creative team to ensure brand consistency across all visual content
- Supporting various print shop and creative production projects
SAMPLE PROJECTS YOU MAY WORK ON Designers in this role may contribute to projects such as:
- Social media graphics promoting Little League World Series teams and events
- Event signage and stadium graphics for tournament locations
- Digital marketing assets for Little League programs and initiatives
- Creative assets to support official partner activations
- Marketing campaigns surrounding Little League philanthropic efforts
- Educational and operational materials for local leagues and volunteers
- Email graphics and website visuals for marketing campaigns
- Promotional graphics supporting merchandising and brand initiatives
Qualifications For a Graphic Designer
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or related field, OR current enrollment at a University majoring in this field (Junior or Senior level). Recent graduates and freelancers are encouraged to apply!
- Requires 1-3 years of verifiable experience in graphic design with skills in digital and print creative design, logo design, promotional and marketing design.
- Possess a creative and artistic ability
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Requires excellent professional communication skills in both written and oral communication. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including senior and executive levels.
- Must possess excellent English writing and communication skills (grammatically correct and professional tone).
- Experience in page layout, logo design, brand management, and promotional marketing design that produces high-quality visual assets.
- Knowledge of industry standards and understanding of business principles including the ability to analyze reports, trends, and evaluate printing quality and methods.
- Extensive computer experience and proficiency including good typing skills, e-mail, internet access and research.
- Strong design skills, including a professional portfolio.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and proofing experience.
- A broad understanding of graphic design, publishing principles, and concepts, for print, online and mobile devices
- Technical expertise in using Adobe Creative Cloud, (Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Must be a creative thinker and be able to provide multiple visual solutions for digital and print storytelling, educational materials and corporate communications.
- A positive attitude, open mind and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Baseball and/or softball knowledge
- Advanced photography and/or videography skills
- HTML experience
- A passion for youth-sports
