Lucky in Love is a premium women’s apparel brand inspired by coastal resort living, sport, and effortless style. Known for our bold prints, performance fabrics, and feminine silhouettes in the tennis and golf markets, the brand is entering an exciting new chapter.

We are expanding into women’s lifestyle apparel—bringing our signature energy and resort-sport aesthetic into a broader collection designed for life beyond the court.

This new category represents a major growth opportunity for Lucky in Love and we are seeking a freelance designer with strong lifestyle fashion sensibility to help shape this next phase.

We are looking for a Freelance Women’s Apparel Designer who can translate the Lucky in Love DNA into a lifestyle collection with a country club focus. .

This designer will collaborate with our leadership and product teams to develop concepts, silhouettes, fabrics, and prints that expand the brand into categories such as lifestyle apparel, travel and leisure pieces and fashion-forward knitwear and tops.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design seasonal women’s lifestyle apparel collections aligned with Lucky in Love’s brand identity
• Create mood boards, color palettes, and trend direction for upcoming seasons
• Develop sketches, silhouettes, and product concepts for lifestyle categories
• Recommend fabrics, trims, and materials appropriate for lifestyle and travel wear and sources for them
• Translate Lucky in Love’s signature prints and feminine aesthetic into lifestyle fashion
• Collaborate with the internal team on brand direction and seasonal storytelling
• Work with technical designers and product developers to bring concepts to life
• Identify emerging lifestyle trends that resonate with the brand’s customer

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years designing women’s fashion or lifestyle apparel
• Experience with contemporary, resort, or elevated casual brands
• Strong illustration and technical sketching skills (Adobe Illustrator preferred)
• Excellent sense of color, print, and feminine silhouette
• Ability to design across categories including tops, dresses, skirts, knitwear, and outer layers
• Understanding of fabrics used in lifestyle and travel apparel
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a small entrepreneurial team
