Summary:
This role is for a results-driven Associate Product Manager (APM) who is skilled at navigating ambiguity and supporting end-to-end product development across B2B and B2C environments. Adept at partnering with engineering, design, data, and customer success teams to drive the product roadmap, run experiments, and bring new features from concept to launch. Highly organized, curious, and committed to learning quickly in fast-paced, hands-on settings.
Key Responsibilities:
· Define and scope product features and enhancements across web, mobile, and chat interfaces.
· Develop clear, concise user stories with well-structured acceptance criteria.
· Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to drive features from concept to completion.
· Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with marketing, customer success, and data stakeholders to ensure aligned execution.
· Support quality assurance by validating that features meet functional and business requirements prior to release.
· Monitor product performance post-launch, identifying follow-up actions, optimizations, and experiment opportunities.
· Maintain an organized product backlog and contribute to effective sprint planning and prioritization.
· Document feature releases and assist with go-to-market communication and enablement activities.
· Gather, synthesize, and prioritize client and user feedback to guide roadmap development and future enhancements.
· Additional tasks, as assigned.
Required Skills:
· Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
· Bias toward action with the ability to operate effectively in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
· Passion for user-centered design and a drive to deliver meaningful business impact.
· Working knowledge of agile methodologies, user story development, and core product tools including Jira, Notion, Figma, Amplitude, and Postman.
Qualifications/Experience/Education:
· 1–2 years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, or a related role.
· Experience or strong interest in AI, travel technology, or conversational product experiences is a significant plus.
· Experience working in cross-functional teams or coordinating work across multiple stakeholders.
· Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, or contribute to project planning.
· Experience taking initiative on projects without being prompted.
· A track record of learning quickly — new tools, domains, or processes.
Nuts and Bolts:● Part-time independent contractor position with hourly compensation.● Approximately 20 hours per week with strong possibility of hours increasing over time.
● Remote position (i.e., working from your home office when not traveling for work)
● Based in a North American time zone (working hours: approximately 8 AM – 5 PM PST)
