Volunteer Web Developer (6-Month Project) – Empower Women Through Tech

NaariSamata is a UK-registered, volunteer-led charity working to empower women and girls across underserved communities. We are looking for a volunteer web developer to help build a web portal that provides women with easy access to region-specific support resources in their own language.

🔧 About the Project:

We’ve completed the design phase and are now seeking a developer to:

• Develop user-friendly data entry and validation screens

• Integrate the front end with a MySQL backend hosted on AWS

• Deploy the solution on our WordPress website

You will be working alongside another skilled volunteer who has already started on this project.

💻 Tech Stack:

• MySQL (AWS)

• WordPress (publishing)

• Open to your choice of front-end framework (React, Vue, etc.)

💡 You’ll Bring:

• Solid web development skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript and/or a front-end framework)

• Experience connecting front ends to a MySQL backend

• Familiarity with WordPress deployment (basic integration)

• An interest in creating social impact through tech

⏳ Commitment:

• Volunteer role (unpaid)

• Approximately 6-month duration

• Flexible hours, remote working
