The Opportunity
As the Product Manager for the Marketing Infrastructure, you’ll take full ownership of Nexl’s marketing product suite, shaping how law firm marketing and BD teams plan, execute, and measure their market engagement at the highest level. Alongside other squad Product Managers focused on BD and Lawyer users, you’ll champion the needs of marketers, building capabilities that make complex workflows simple and powerful.
This role sits at the intersection of product innovation, client engagement, and go-to-market execution. You’ll drive the strategy and roadmap for Nexl’s marketing features, working hand-in-hand with clients, design, engineering, and GTM teams to deliver solutions that create real, measurable impact for large, complex firms.
What You'll Own & Do
- Take ownership of Nexl’s marketing product area, including campaigns, events, segmentation, subscription management, and related analytics.
- Conduct deep user discovery with marketing and BD professionals, translating insights into clear product requirements and advocating for their needs across the business.
- Define and evolve product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Nexl’s overall vision and growth objectives.
- Write detailed requirements and user stories that guide Engineering and Design teams to deliver high-value, high-quality features.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Design in Shape-Up cycles to deliver solutions that are reliable, robust, and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with Client Success and Sales to gather feedback, identify opportunities, and support go-to-market launches.
- Measure and track adoption, engagement, and product success metrics to continually refine and improve Nexl’s marketing capabilities.
- Act as the internal champion for marketing users, ensuring their voice is heard in all product decisions.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in Product Management, ideally within SaaS B2B products.
- Strong understanding of the marketing function within professional services firms — ideally law firms — including campaign management, CRM, B2B events, and marketing automation.
- Experience working with professional services firms (legal, consulting, financial services) is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to translate user needs into actionable product strategies, roadmaps, and requirements.
- Comfortable with technical concepts and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Skilled at balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term strategic goals.
- A confident communicator who can align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.
- Passionate about building products that make complex work simple, elegant, and impactful.
