Now, we’re expanding our social media team to amplify that mission and connect with millions of women ready to move, grow, and feel electric.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Part-Time Social Media Content Strategist to help shape, create, and scale obé’s social presence across platforms.

You’ll partner closely with our Senior Director of Programming, Production & Content teams to build out our social strategy and roadmap, ideate and produce high-performing content, and help evolve the voice and visual storytelling of obé in the Dear Media era.

This is a remote role with approximately 20 hours per week, ideal for a creative, strategic, and trend-savvy marketer looking to make an impact - and grow with us.

What You’ll Do_Strategy + Roadmap_

• Collaborate with the Senior Director to plan and execute the social content strategy and monthly roadmap.
• Align content priorities with company goals, program launches, and key marketing moments.
• Monitor analytics and optimize strategy based on performance insights.

Content Ideation + Creation

• Develop and produce approximately 5 social assets per week (static, Reels, carousels, stories, short-form video).
• Create content that’s relevant, engaging, and rooted in current trends, culture, and community insights.
• Ensure visuals and messaging reflect obé’s brand identity and voice.

Copywriting + Optimization

• Write scroll-stopping captions, hooks, and CTAs tailored to platform algorithms, SEO, and engagement trends.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, programming, and marketing teams to align copy with campaign goals.

Trend Tracking + Innovation

• Stay ahead of trends across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
• Propose experimental formats and new creative approaches to keep obé’s social presence fresh and relevant.

Performance + Reporting

• Monitor and report on social KPIs, including engagement, reach, and conversions.
• Provide insights and recommendations to continuously refine strategy.

Who You Are

• 3+ years experience in social media strategy, content creation, or digital marketing—preferably in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle.
• Strong portfolio of creative content that blends storytelling, design, and measurable results.
• Deep understanding of platform algorithms, short-form video best practices, and emerging social trends.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills; fluent in brand voice and cultural nuance.
• Comfortable with basic design and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A self-starter who loves experimenting, iterating, and staying on the pulse of what’s next.
