Sr. UX / UI Designer (long contract)

Overview

The Sr. UX / UI Designer will be a key contributor to a modern initiative transforming healthcare and pharmacy through disciplined Agile and Lean practices. *You will need experience in native mobile as well as general web.

You’ll work closely with business, product, and engineering partners to drive work from discovery through iterative delivery, while helping teams adopt UX best practices, accessibility standards, and design system consistency.

• 5+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or UX Architect
• 2+ years of depth in at least 1 design pillar including user research, interaction design, or visual design
• Must have a portfolio website that also showcases amazing UX itself as well as relevant experience to this role, including case studies (cannot consider candidates with G Drive or Dropbox style sites)
• Experience working in Agile and Lean environments
• Experience designing enterprise, internal-facing, or B2B applications
• Proven ability to apply user-centered design methodologies from research through implementation
• 1+ year of experience designing and prototyping in Figma
• Familiarity with modern front-end concepts including HTML/CSS, responsive design, and common design frameworks (ex. Material Design)

Sr. UX / UI Designer Duties

• Own design work across research, usability evaluation, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI
• Translate business needs into clear, intuitive user flows and product experiences
• Create and maintain Figma files, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes aligned to design system standards
• Partner with PMs, business owners, and engineers to ensure alignment on requirements, feasibility, and delivery
• Advocate for accessibility, design standards, and UX best practices across written and verbal communications
• Facilitate collaborative sessions such as design sketching, research synthesis, and retrospectives
• Participate in design reviews and pairing to strengthen quality, consistency, and cross-team collaboration
