Application Deadline: 25 July 2025 Department: Software Development Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Remote, UK Reporting To: Lisa Guiness Description Parent Pay is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our Parental Engagement Messaging team. This is a fully remote role. An in person interview may be requested. You will be working with a highly collaborative and Agile development team based both in the UK and India, to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for communications within the education sector, at all levels of the software stack Key Responsibilities

  • Build responsive code using the latest web technologies.
  • Develop server-side logic with ASP.NET Core.
  • Utilize Azure services for cloud-based applications.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
  • Design and implement secure RESTful APIs.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Front-end Tech Advanced knowledge of the following technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS & Angular, NodeJS. Back-end Tech C#, ASP .NET/.NET Framework/.NET Core, WebAPI / REST API, Nunit, Moq, SQL Server, Entity Framework, MS Azure (App Services, Service Bus, Notification Hub, Web Jobs, Functions), IdentityModel. Dev Tools Visual Studio with ReSharper, Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, Git, SSMS. Other Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile team environment.
  • An understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • An understanding of secure web development practices.
  • The ability to work remotely with minimal supervision in a suitable working environment.
