About Payroc

Payroc is a global payments technology company helping businesses get paid, grow faster, and operate smarter. From powerful POS systems to seamless online and mobile payment solutions, we equip merchants with the tools they need to succeed in today's fast-moving commerce landscape.

At Payroc, our culture is built around people who lead with grit, take ownership, and are not afraid to be a boss when it comes to driving results. We believe the best solutions start when we listen first to our customers, our partners, and each other so we can deliver payment experiences that truly make a difference for the businesses we serve.

We are a team that moves quickly, thinks entrepreneurially, and celebrates big wins together. If you are energized by building relationships, solving real business problems, and creating opportunities for yourself and your clients, Payroc is the kind of place where you can make an impact and grow your career.

Position Overview

Payroc is looking for a Graphic Designer with proven experience scaling design systems in a growing organization. We are looking for someone with a design sensibility that goes beyond looking good — we want designs that create connection, simplify complexity, and hold a brand together through aggressive growth, including 30+ acquisitions and counting.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting directly to the Creative Director. You will work at the center of a design function that is actively exploring how emerging tools — including AI — can strengthen how we work. The systems you help build will be used by marketers, sales teams, and designers across a fast-growing payments and commerce technology company.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Design across the full brand surface: Create precise, on-brand visual work across digital campaigns, sales enablement, web, print, and premium marketing content like ebooks, transforming complex payments and fintech concepts into visual storytelling that a merchant can understand in five seconds.
  • Co-develop the Payroc Marketing Design System: Work in close collaboration with the Creative Director to build and evolve our design system — components, templates, tokens, and guidelines that scale across the organization as a living system, not a static PDF.
  • Own presentation systems: Build and maintain the templates, layouts, and tooling behind Payroc's presentation ecosystem, from executive decks to partner pitches, so that every deck sings.
  • Bring the brand into physical space: Design for events and environments, including trade show booths, conference materials, signage, and experiential moments (occasional travel to major industry events like TRANSACT).
  • Improve how the team works: Help prototype, document, and evolve the design workflows, templates, and systems the whole team relies on, including tools that let non-designers produce on-brand work safely.
  • Protect brand consistency while pushing it forward: Know when to hold the system together and when to let it breathe.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of professional design experience with a portfolio showing strategic thinking and polished execution across multiple channels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and working fluency in Figma, especially components and shared libraries; experience with Canva, Affinity, Dropbox, and Monday.com a plus.
  • Curiosity about emerging tools, including AI, and an interest in bringing them into your creative process over time.
  • Strong fundamentals: typography, layout, color, and systems thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at speed without letting precision slip.
  • FinTech, payments, SaaS, or B2B technology experience preferred; motion/video skills a plus.

Travel Component

  • Occasional travel for events and team gatherings

Working Conditions

  • Remote (US) with occasional travel for major industry events and team gatherings.
  • Full-time, individual contributor role.
