Job Description

Posted on: March 21, 2026

Location: Poland

Type: Full-time, B2B/freelance

Working arrangements: remote

Reporting to: Head of Design Engineering

Start: As soon as possible

This is a technology-driven company delivering high-performance prefabricated façade solutions for the construction industry. By combining engineering excellence with advanced digital tools, the organization accelerates the adoption of sustainable, cost-efficient building practices across the Baltics, Poland, and the United States.

The company brings together experienced professionals in engineering, construction, and technology to rethink how commercial building exteriors are designed and delivered. Through streamlined processes and a strong focus on prefabrication, it enables faster project execution, reduced costs, and improved quality.

At the core of the offering is a proprietary BIM-based platform that supports architects, general contractors, and developers in designing and delivering efficient, scalable, and sustainable façade systems. This integrated approach allows project teams to optimize both the design and construction phases while leveraging the latest advancements in digital engineering.

As part of its continued growth, the organization is expanding its design engineering team, focusing on strengthening project execution capabilities and supporting the delivery of complex international projects.

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of façade design execution within assigned projects, acting as an individual contributor
  • Deliver high-quality technical drawings (primarily 2D, with 3D where applicable) aligned with project requirements
  • Lead engineering problem-solving by proposing efficient, buildable, and cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Lead Design Engineers and cross-functional teams to support project delivery
  • Participate in technical coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders (architects, contractors, consultants)
  • Review and validate technical documentation to ensure compliance with project and fabrication requirements
  • Support continuous improvement of internal processes, tools, and engineering standards
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and “lessons learned” initiatives after project completion
  • Engage with modern tools and workflows, including testing and adoption of AI-supported design solutions

Required experience, skills and knowledge:

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in prefabricated façade systems
  • Strong experience in technical design execution (rather than conceptual/product design)
  • High proficiency in 2D design tools (e.g. AutoCAD or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of 3D tools such as Revit or Autodesk Inventor
  • Solid understanding of façade systems, construction detailing, and buildability
  • Basic structural understanding and ability to perform or interpret engineering calculations
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in international teams
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with structural analysis
  • Background in unitized curtain wall systems or complex prefabrication solutions
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows and standards
  • Exposure to automation, parametric design, or AI tools in engineering
  • Experience working on US-based construction projects
  • Interest in cross-functional career paths

Offer:

  • Opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovation-driven company shaping the future of prefabricated construction
  • Clear career progression path (Senior Design Engineer → Design Manager → Project Manager or cross-functional roles, including IT)
  • Exposure to international projects, primarily on the US East Coast (e.g. New York)
  • Flexible, remote-first work model with outcome-oriented culture
  • Competitive fixed monthly salary
  • Company-provided equipment (laptop, monitor, software)
  • Opportunities for international travel (Vilnius HQ, manufacturing sites, project locations)
  • Collaborative, international team environment with a strong, positive and “startup mindset” culture
  • Regular team initiatives and company events
  • Active focus on innovation, including experimentation with AI tools.
