2D Artist (Poland/Ukraine)

The successful applicant will be able to work at our Lviv office, Kyiv office, Warsaw office or remotely from Poland and Ukraine.

We are looking for a talented 2D Artist to join the RAID art team responsible for the creation of high-quality 2D content in a realistic style for the game’s dark fantasy setting. The successful candidate will design game objects and create art that includes characters, and which can be used to feature RAID on Apple, Google, and Microsoft platforms. The game is available on iOS, Android, and PC/Mac.

Responsibilities:

• Creating illustrations and banners for in-game offers and events
• Creating art that can be used for featuring the game across various platforms
• Developing character avatars as well as designs for icons and game objects, to varying degrees of complexity

Requirements:

• 3+ years of work experience as a 2D Artist in the gaming industry
• Ability to render materials realistically
• Skills in designing props, armor, etc.
• Ability to create basic models and simple scenes in Blender
• Sketching skills, ability to create quick and clear sketches
• Knowledge of the photobashing technique
• Understanding of trends in the art industry, and an extensive visual library
• English language skills at the intermediate level or higher

Desired:

• Ability to create a multi-figure composition
• Experience in providing feedback
• Experience in mobile and console games
• Hands-on experience using AI tools
