🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Mining Designer to support the planning and design of mining operations, infrastructure, and site layouts.

You’ll work on safe, efficient, and practical mine design solutions in a fully remote environment.

🎯 What You’ll Do

• Develop mine layouts, plans, and production designs
• Support pit, underground, or haul road design activities
• Prepare technical drawings, models, and design documentation
• Assist with mine planning and optimization studies
• Collaborate with mining engineers and operational teams
• Review geotechnical, geological, and production data
• Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory requirements
• Support continuous improvement in mine design processes

🛠️ Tools & Technologies

• Mining software (Deswik, Vulcan, MineSched, Surpac)
• CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
• Excel for planning and analysis
• GIS tools (a plus)
• Basic geotechnical or scheduling tools (a plus)

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years of experience in mining design or mine planning
• Strong understanding of mining operations and mine layouts
• Experience with mining design software
• Ability to interpret geological and operational data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Full working rights in Australia
