Animator for Human-Centered, Emotionally Driven Stories. Motion Designer / Animator – Bring Human Stories to Life Through Movement

Description:

We’re seeking a gifted animator with a strong sense of storytelling and emotional pacing to bring reconstructed human stories to life through movement and timing.

You’ll work with a visual artist (or existing artwork) to animate compelling, emotion-driven narratives that resonate deeply, especially in moments where live footage isn’t available.

You'll Be:

• Animating scenes based on real human stories and scripts
• Using motion to enhance emotional impact and clarity
• Collaborating with a visual artist or illustrator to bring scenes to life
• Combining subtle movement, body language, pacing, and expression for depth

Required:

• Strong 2D motion graphics and character animation (After Effects or similar)
• Understanding of timing, emotion, and subtle gestures
• Ability to create emotionally compelling animation based on voiceover or scene scripts
• Great visual storytelling sense

Bonus:

• Experience animating reconstructed or documentary-style scenes
• Familiarity with emotionally rich storytelling content  
• Ability to work with compositing, transitions, and visual metaphor

Your animation will be judged based on its ability to captivate, move, and help viewers emotionally connect to the story.
