Running Mammals is a mental health startup looking for a compassionate, creative Illustrator to join our volunteer team. Your work will help bring sensitive topics to life through thoughtful, emotionally resonant visuals. You’ll collaborate closely with our UX/Product Designer and Graphic Designer to create a warm, supportive user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Create empathetic, visually sensitive illustrations on mental health topics
• Maintain a distinctive and consistent style aligned with our brand tone
• Work with the design team to enhance the app’s user experience
• Translate complex emotions and concepts into accessible, user-friendly visuals
• Manage projects from initial sketches to final assets, incorporating feedback efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency with Procreate or other industry-standard digital illustration tools
• A strong portfolio showcasing a unique style, emotional depth, and versatility
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Highly organised: clean file structures, layered assets, and quick response to feedback in fast-paced environments
