🚀 We’re looking for a Technical Lead
Are you a senior Drupal specialist who enjoys solving complex problems, leading technical direction and helping teams deliver great digital solutions?
Salsa Digital is looking for a Technical Lead to join our team on a full time basis and play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise digital solutions that help governments become more open, connected and consolidated.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You’ll work across discovery, solution design and project delivery, providing technical authority while supporting and mentoring developers and helping clients make the right technology decisions.
You’ll be involved in things like:
🔹 Leading technical discovery and solution design
🔹 Developing technical blueprints and assessing technical risks
🔹 Working directly with clients on technical direction and solutions
🔹 Leading and supporting development teams
🔹 Conducting code reviews and driving technical excellence
🔹 Mentoring developers and improving engineering practices
🔹 Exploring automation, AI-assisted development and reusable patterns
🔹 Contributing to the Drupal and broader open-source community
🔹 Sharing your knowledge through meetups, conferences, webinars and technical content
What we’re looking for
You’ll need:
✅ 8–10+ years’ experience delivering enterprise digital solutions using Drupal
✅ 2–5+ years’ experience in technical leadership of enterprise digital solutions
✅ Strong agile delivery experience
✅ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
✅ To be based in Australia and an Australian Citizen
Experience with GovCMS, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, containerised environments, DevOps, infrastructure automation or AI-enabled development tools would be highly regarded.
