Position Overview:

Salve is at the forefront of transforming patient engagement in the IVF industry with our innovative SaaS solutions. We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React.js on the front end and Node.js on the back end. You’ll be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications and working closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers.

You will be engaged in highly impactful initiatives aimed at improving the experiences of both patients and clinic staff across our global markets. This includes developing new features for our medications management, telehealth and payments services and re-architecting our end-user registration and onboarding flows for a more seamless experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using React, ReactNative and Node.js.
  • Build and integrate GraphQL APIs and legacy RestAPIs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across front-end and back-end components.
  • Translate product and UI/UX requirements into fully functional, pixel-perfect web interfaces.
  • Write robust, maintainable, and testable code using modern TypeScript practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, backend engineers, and customer success to deliver impactful features.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices across the frontend team.
  • Write automated tests for UI components and own the deployment CI/CD pipelines
  • Contribute to agile planning, sprint ceremonies, and technical discussions.

**Requirements:**Mandatory:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack or frontend development with React.js, Redux (or other state management), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Strong experience using node.js for development of GraphQL APIs (we use Apollo).
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL solutions (e.g., DynamoDB).
  • Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaborative environments.
  • Strong understanding of front-end security principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Understanding of modern development tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Docker).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience of testing tools (for example Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, Cypress, StoryBook etc) 

Desirable:

  • Experience building and maintaining Mobile applications using ReactNative library.
  • Experience with AWS and serverless backend development (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway).
  • Familiarity with AWS services including Cognito, S3, SQS, and CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA or GDPR.
  • Background in the healthcare industry or other regulated environments.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture.
