This is a hands-on design role where you’ll support the creative and technical development of engaging retail and brand display solutions. Working closely with the Design and Development Manager and wider teams, you’ll help translate client briefs into 3D concepts, technical drawings, and production-ready designs. From idea generation through to manufacturing support, you'll contribute to delivering creative and practical solutions that align with brand objectives and production feasibility. While this is a remote role, occasional travel within the UK for client meetings, site visits, or exhibitions is required. Key Responsibilities Support the development of display concepts, from initial sketches and 3D models to detailed technical drawings Assist in preparing presentations and visuals for client pitches and internal reviews. Collaborate with project managers, senior designers, and production partners to ensure designs are deliverable within budget and timeline. Apply design thinking to problem-solving and innovation Maintain awareness of materials, trends, and manufacturing processes relevant to the display and retail environment. About You You’re a creative and detail-oriented designer with a passion for bringing ideas to life. You have experience in retail, exhibition, product, or interior design and a good eye for storytelling through design. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing creativity with technical precision. Required Skills & Experience Proficiency in design software essentials: SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Suite. 3ds max is a plus but not essential. Experience in turning design concepts into technical specifications. Strong visualisation and presentation skills. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. A portfolio showcasing creative concepts and technical design work (consumer-focused or branded environments preferred) Experience supporting projects through to manufacture Knowledge of materials, processes, and prototyping for physical displays.
