About Secret Atlas
Secret Atlas is the fastest-growing small-ship operator in the polar regions, pioneering low-impact expedition cruising in Antarctica and the Arctic.
We operate Expedition Micro Cruises with a maximum of 12 guests, designed for curious, intelligent travellers who value access, depth, and sustainability. As we expand our product portfolio and global reach, we are looking for a highly organised and visually astute Digital Marketing Executive to support our next phase of growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven travel brand reshaping polar exploration.
The Role
This is a remote, hands-on role with real autonomy. You’ll cover the full operational range of our marketing output: lifecycle email and newsletters, expedition journals and brochures, webinar content and editing, the media library, website content, and product marketing coordination.
You’ll also take a growing role in named partnerships and standalone projects. You’ll need to work independently, run a demanding, detail-heavy workload without close supervision, and hold a high creative and editorial bar independently.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Lifecycle Email Marketing
Own and refresh lead nurturing email sequences across the guest journey
Build, test, and schedule webinar invitation and reminder emails, including registration form templates
Write newsletter copy, take it through sign-off, and build the sends in our email builder
Plan and maintain the newsletter calendar across CRM segments, balancing frequency and relevance by guest type and product interest
2. Editorial & Print Production
Design and update Expedition Journals in Adobe InDesign, including wildlife sightings tables, to brand template
Manage brochure updates in InDesign across Expedition Micro Cruises, Photography Expeditions, and Private Expeditions, including updates tied to new launches
Maintain visual and typographic consistency across all print and downloadable collateral
3. Video & Content Editing
Edit recorded webinars in Adobe Premiere Pro for on-demand viewing and repurposing across channels
Prepare edited footage and stills for newsletters, the website, and PR use
4. Media & Asset Management
Manage and organise the media library (Pics.io), ensuring every image is correctly named, tagged, credited, and stored
Maintain strict accuracy when sourcing imagery: locations, wildlife, and historical figures must be correctly identified before use
Handle incoming PR agency requests: source, select, and folder approved images and content for external publications
5. Website Maintenance
Populate and update website content pages, and support content (copy and media) uploads and accuracy checks
Maintain clear, consistent messaging across product listings
Deliver ad hoc website updates as briefed
6. Product Marketing Support
Help prepare and update expedition brochures and sales materials for new launches
Organise images, copy, and key product details for accuracy across new expedition launches and seasonal campaigns
Keep product information consistent across all channels
7. Partnerships & Projects
Take ownership of discrete marketing projects requiring independent planning and rollout (e.g. Armchair Explorer)
Provide ongoing, and increasing, support on the Sony, Swarovski Optik, and Loyalty Club Benefits (Special Guests) partnerships, working directly with the Marketing Executive on activation and delivery
Who You Are
Organised enough to run several concurrent, detail-heavy workstreams without things slipping
Confident making independent creative and editorial decisions, then briefing in for sign-off rather than waiting to be told what to do
Visually precise, with a strong eye for typography, layout, and brand consistency
Comfortable using AI within your workflow to increase efficiency
Fluent in brand and tone of voice guidelines, and quick to apply them without prompting
Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time and priorities
Genuinely interested in low-impact, responsible travel and the polar regions
You don’t need direct polar experience, but you do need to be able to understand a complex, detail-rich product quickly and communicate it with precision.
Non-Negotiables
2 to 3 years’ experience in a marketing or digital role, with meaningful exposure to luxury travel, hospitality, or expedition/adventure travel
Confident, independent user of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
Practical experience with a CRM or marketing automation platform, including segmentation, list building, and campaign scheduling (we use Zoho CRM and Zoho Marketing Automation)
Working understanding of SEO fundamentals and how to apply them in web copy
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to deadline with minimal oversight
Strong remote-working discipline and time management
Nice to Have
Experience working with premium or high-net-worth (HNW) audiences
Understanding of performance marketing or CRM systems (We use Zoho CRM, Zoho Marketing Automation)
