About The Role
The Assistant Graphic Designer at Abercrombie & Fitch plays a vital role within the creative team, focusing on digital content creation for marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches aligned with seasonal marketing initiatives. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the visual storytelling of a leading fashion retailer by developing on-trend, cohesive, and innovative designs across multiple digital channels, including website, mobile app, email, and paid media. The role requires close collaboration with Creative Directors, Strategists, Merchants, and Brand Marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences. The ideal candidate will bring a keen aesthetic sense, strong organizational skills, and a passion for fashion and branding, helping to shape the future of Abercrombie & Fitch’s visual identity and customer engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional creative environment, preferably within marketing or fashion retail
- Experience working in an iconic, branded environment for an international organization
- Strong portfolio showcasing design work across multiple platforms, including print and digital
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with motion graphics and Adobe After Effects is a plus
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling for digital and mobile media
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within creative teams
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about branding and e-commerce
- Create relevant product stories, fashion lifestyle content, and promotional materials for digital channels, maintaining a cohesive brand narrative
- Partner with design leads, photo art directors, copywriters, strategists, and merchants to visualize and execute innovative design solutions
- Ensure all creative outputs adhere to brand style guides, Figma standards, and multi-channel best practices from concept to final production
- Manage design workflows and meet deadlines within a dynamic, collaborative environment
- Participate in weekly creative reviews with department and company leadership to present concepts and receive feedback
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Abercrombie’s brand DNA, customer base, fashion trends, and industry landscape to inform design decisions
