About The Role

We are seeking a talented Assistant Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Creative Department. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about aesthetics, typography, logo design, and color harmony to contribute to the visual storytelling of a global fashion retailer. The Assistant Designer will work closely with our in-season design team to develop digital creative content for marketing campaigns, promotions, and product messaging aligned with Abercrombie & Fitch’s seasonal marketing initiatives. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Creative Directors, Strategists, Merchants, and Brand Marketing—to craft innovative, on-brand visuals that resonate across multiple marketing channels such as our website, app, paid media, and email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for layout, trend awareness, and a strong understanding of digital design principles, all while maintaining consistency with brand standards. This position fosters creativity and innovation, encouraging you to push boundaries and stay curious as you help shape the future of our brand presence worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional creative environment, preferably within marketing or fashion retail
  • Experience working within an iconic, branded environment for an international organization
  • Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work across multiple platforms, including digital and print
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Understanding of typography, layout, and digital/mobile media design principles
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within creative teams
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about branding and e-commerce trends

Responsibilities

  • Create relevant product stories, fashion lifestyle visuals, and promotional content for digital channels to support cohesive brand narratives
  • Collaborate with design leads, photo art directors, copywriters, strategists, and merchants to visualize and execute creative solutions across all digital touchpoints
  • Maintain consistent on-brand creative standards by adhering to style guides, Figma site standards, and multi-channel best practices from concept to final production
  • Manage design workflows and deadlines efficiently within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Participate in weekly creative reviews with department and company leadership to ensure alignment and quality
  • Stay informed about fashion trends, industry developments, and brand DNA to ensure creative relevance and innovation
  • Contribute proactively to team projects, demonstrating positive, team-oriented, and project-driven skills
