About The Role
The Environmental Graphic Designer IB is a creative and detail-oriented professional who thrives on transforming concepts into visually compelling environments. In this role, you will work closely with interior designers, architects, and clients to develop innovative signage, wayfinding, and exhibit graphics that enhance spatial experiences. Your expertise will contribute to all phases of the design process, from initial conceptualization to final artwork production. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate on projects across diverse sectors such as commercial, healthcare, and sports environments, helping to reimagine how brands and spaces communicate and connect with their audiences. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign on Macintosh
- Experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp is a plus
- Excellent typography and visual communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in 3D design, wayfinding, and environmental graphics
- Analytical mindset and ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and collaborative communication skills
- Participate in all phases of the design process, from conceptual development to artwork production
- Collaborate with environmental graphics team to develop graphics, signage, maps, and exhibits
- Assist in creating visualizations and mockups for signage placement and content
- Prepare camera-ready artwork suitable for fabrication and installation
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators to ensure quality and accuracy in production
- Work with clients to interpret their needs and translate ideas into effective design concepts
- Support the development of innovative solutions that enhance spatial experiences
- Maintain project timelines and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
