About The Company Trulieve is a leading company in the rapidly expanding medical cannabis industry, dedicated to providing patients with high-quality, natural products that offer relief from various medical conditions. Our plants are meticulously cultivated in controlled environments designed to minimize the use of chemicals and pests, ensuring a pure and natural product. We focus on delivering solutions for symptoms associated with serious health issues such as seizures, muscle spasms, pain, nausea, and loss of appetite, working closely with physicians to determine the right products and dosages for each patient. Our commitment to quality, safety, and compassionate care has positioned us as a trusted provider in the industry. About The Role We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Social Media Content Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team. Reporting directly to the SE Senior Social Media Strategist, this role focuses on capturing authentic, real-time content from community events, store activations, and local partnerships across Florida. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a keen eye for culturally relevant moments and a talent for transforming raw footage into engaging digital content. This position offers the opportunity to lead in-field content creation, build brand presence in local communities, and potentially expand into additional markets as the program grows. The role is remote, with the requirement to reside in Florida, and involves travel across the state to various community events and retail locations. Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, especially with infield or event-based content capture
  • Strong proficiency in video editing, photography, and mobile content production tools
  • Deep understanding of social media storytelling and platform behaviors
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, real-world environments
  • Creative instincts with a bias toward action and quick turnaround
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to manage multiple shoots and deliverables
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across Florida and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Comfortable working in community settings, retail environments, and at events

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-the-ground social content lead across Florida markets, attending community events, store openings, and activations
  • Identify and capture culturally relevant moments that reflect local communities and enhance brand presence
  • Create a consistent flow of in-field content to support weekly social storytelling initiatives
  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality videos and photos optimized for various platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X
  • Develop weekly content such as event recaps, community highlight reels, UGC-style edits, and engagement-driven posts like polls and trends
  • Transform raw footage into polished, platform-native content with compelling storytelling, pacing, and hooks
  • Partner with influencers, brand ambassadors, and community members to co-create authentic content
  • Stay updated on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and content formats, applying insights to field content in real-time when possible
  • Collaborate with marketing, retail, design, and digital teams to ensure content aligns with brand campaigns and initiatives
  • Support broader social media strategies by providing field-driven content that complements campaigns and initiatives

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off
  • Remote work flexibility with travel opportunities across Florida
  • Opportunities for career growth and program expansion into new markets
  • Engagement in a fast-growing industry focused on health and wellness
