Job Title: Lead Graphic Designer (Unpaid, Volunteer, Remote)

Location: Remote

Duration: 20 weeks (with potential extension or transition to a paid, official position + ESOP)

Overview:

Svello is a dynamic proptech platform designed to make buying, selling, and renting properties as seamless as swiping left or right. Our creative team is the heart of the platform, ensuring visually stunning and engaging content that captivates our users. We are seeking a Lead Graphic Designer (Volunteer) to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll lead the creative direction, manage a team of graphic designers, video editors, animators, and multimedia artists, and help build a cohesive and innovative visual identity for our platform.

This is a volunteer position ideal for someone passionate about creative leadership and innovation in the real estate tech space. Outstanding contributors will be considered for a paid leadership role and receive equity through our ESOP upon successful fundraising.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the overall creative vision and strategy for Svello
• Lead and manage a team of graphic designers, video editors, animators, and multimedia artists
• Oversee the creation of all visual content, including marketing materials, user interface designs, video content, and animations
• Ensure consistency in visual branding across all platforms and touchpoints
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to integrate creative assets seamlessly into the platform
• Develop and maintain creative workflows and processes to ensure efficient and high-quality output
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Mentor and develop the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and technologies into the creative process
• Attend regular remote meetings and contribute to team strategies and roadmap discussions

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in a tech or proptech environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including graphic design, video editing, animation, and multimedia projects
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere)
• Experience with animation software (e.g., After Effects) and multimedia production
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team
• Previous experience managing and mentoring creative teams is a strong plus
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in-progress) in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or related field preferred

Compensation:

This position is unpaid at this stage. However, it includes:

• Opportunity to earn equity through Svello’s ESOP
• Potential to transition into a paid leadership role upon successful fundraising
