Website Project Manager (Remote)

About the Role

The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter with strong decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As the main point of contact for the client, you will manage every stage of the website creation process, from planning and content creation to design, development, and launch, all while ensuring the team stays on schedule and within the scope.

You will coordinate internal resources and work closely with clients to build strong relationships. Excellent organizational skills and a passion for detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate global internal resources and/or third parties/vendors
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while meeting clients' expectations
• Reinforcing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders in the process, and ensuring technical feasibility of client requests.
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules, and monitor progress
• Report project progress and/or risks - escalating issues as necessary
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders 
• Manage the project team, providing purpose, direction, and motivation
• Due to our global team, responding to emails or messages outside of our regular office hours may occasionally be needed in case of time-sensitive items.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of project/account management experience.
• Some experience with website projects in any capacity. 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Ability to manage multiple, fast-paced projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Work schedule aligned with the East Coast time zone.

• Experience managing web design and development projects, particularly in WordPress or other CMS platforms. Familiarity with producing and managing websites is a plus.
• Prior experience working in a client-facing role at an agency.
• Experience working in a remote-first environment.
• Local to the Hampton Roads, VA area, to be able to meet local clients as needed (a couple of times a year)
