We’re hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own client outcomes, lead the creative process, and scale systems that print profit.
Role basics
- Type: Full-time (employee or long-term contractor)
- Comp: $60,000/year + performance bonus
- Timezone: 4+ hours EU/EST overlap (Mon–Fri)
- Core Stack: Klaviyo, Shopify, Attentive, Asana, Slack, Triple Whale, Lifetimely, Hiro Analytics, Figma
Must-have experience (non-negotiable)
- Klaviyo for DTC (3–5+ yrs) with $1M+ attributed email revenue in the last 12 months or 3 brands ≥ $300k/quarter each.
- Pod leadership: led 1-3 team members (builder/design), ran weekly planning, wrote briefs, and QA’d builds.
- Architecture depth: 50+ flows shipped (welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, branching logic, event-triggered).
- Deliverability: Reputation warm-up, inbox placement improvement.
- Experimentation: planned/reported A/B tests across segmentation, offers, cadence, creative with clear hypotheses.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be accountable for
- Hitting brand-appropriate channel mix (email 20–35% of revenue on average; higher for email-led brands) while keeping unsub <0.3% and spam <0.1%.
- A monthly plan of 15–30 campaigns and 4–8 flow launches/major iterations, each with a defined test hypothesis.
- Clear, client-ready reporting (Klaviyo/Shopify/Triple Whale) and a rolling 90-day test roadmap.
Client Strategy & Leadership
- Lead strategy for 5–6 DTC brands; turn business goals into retention roadmaps.
- Run comms, performance reviews, planning sessions; convert strategy into airtight briefs for builders/designers.
Lifecycle Design & Execution
- Architect, build, and optimize email & SMS flows and campaigns in Klaviyo.
- Own the campaign calendar—on-brand, on-strategy, on-time.
- Collaborate with copy/design to ship creative that converts (and meets QA standards).
- (Experience with push, subscriptions, and loyalty is a plus—not required.)
Data-Driven Optimization
- Go past opens: analyze cohorts/attribution in Shopify, Lifetimely, Triple Whale, or Hiro.
- Maintain a rigorous testing cadence across segmentation, message, offer, cadence, timing.
- Turn data into crisp narratives and next steps clients can act on.
What your week looks like
- Monday: Send client updates on last week’s results and align priorities; finalize this week’s strategy.
- Tue & Wed (Deep Work): Architect/iterate flows, segment lists, prep hypotheses/briefs, and unblock builds.
- Thursday: Reflect on progress; check deadlines, QA in-flight work, and tidy reporting.
- Friday: Wrap the week, finish any final deep work, and plan next week’s actions (tests, briefs, deliverables).
What You Bring
- Compliance fluent: GDPR/CCPA/CAN-SPAM, consent capture, 10DLC (US SMS), opt-in UX, suppression & list hygiene.
- Technical: Klaviyo Liquid/Handlebars, event variables, dynamic blocks, profile properties, UTM conventions; comfort with basic JSON/webhooks/API triggers.
- QA standards: device/email-client checks, link & pixel tracking, dark-mode & accessibility (ALT text), pre-send checklist ownership.
- Klaviyo DTC specialist with portfolio-level revenue ownership (see hard filter).
- Deliverability fluent (DNS, domain warm-up, reputation recovery).
- Analytical operator who turns cohort/attribution data into testable plans.
- 3+ years hands-on in Klaviyo with proven revenue impact for DTC brands.
- Strategic mindset, excellent communication/collaboration/time management.
- Fluency in the DTC stack: Klaviyo, Shopify, Asana, Slack, Attentive, Recharge; analytics (Lifetimely, Triple Whale, Hiro).
