2D Animator – Contract

This role offers the opportunity to bring creative concepts to life through high-quality 2D animation for a full-time contract. The successful candidate will animate characters using rigging tools such as DuIK and Joysticks, create smooth vector-based motion graphics in After Effects, and collaborate closely with art directors to maintain a distinctive “museum + tech” visual style. The position also involves preparing assets, developing simple storyboards or animatics, and ensuring timely delivery of polished animations. • Animate characters and objects using DuIK, Joysticks, and other rigging tools in After Effects
• Create smooth, high-quality vector-based motion graphics
• Collaborate with art directors to maintain and evolve the established “museum + tech” style
• Prepare and organize assets for animation workflows
• Develop simple storyboards or animatics to communicate animation concepts
• Deliver polished animations on schedule, adhering to project timelines
• Participate in team meetings and provide creative input throughout the production process

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D animation, particularly with After Effects
• Proficiency with rigging tools such as DuIK and Joysticks
• Strong understanding of vector-based animation and motion graphics principles
• Ability to interpret and maintain a consistent visual style
• Experience preparing assets and developing storyboards or animatics
