CAD Designer – Remote Contract

You will collaborate closely with engineers and design teams to ensure all deliverables meet exacting standards and are completed within tight deadlines. Deliverables

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD software as required
• Develop layouts, plans, diagrams, and technical documentation for assigned projects
• Interpret engineering notes, sketches, and specifications to produce accurate drawings
• Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback and project changes
• Ensure all documentation adheres to industry standards and project requirements
• Collaborate with engineers and design teams to resolve technical issues and clarify project details
• Deliver completed drawings and documentation within a 3–5 day turnaround window

Requirements

• Proven experience in CAD drafting and design, with a strong portfolio of 2D and 3D work
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with additional CAD software is a plus
• Solid understanding of technical drawing standards and best practices
• Ability to interpret engineering notes, specifications, and sketches accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration
• Experience in architecture, mechanical design, or manufacturing is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Reliable internet connection and availability for remote work
