Comic Artist – Remote

This role is ideal for a creative comic and cartoon artist passionate about character development and visual storytelling. You will collaborate on a new comic strip, 'willietherobot,' shaping its unique style and bringing humor and satire to life in a clean, PG-rated format. The project involves designing consistent characters, backgrounds, and text for one- or two-panel strips, all intended for a subscription-based website. This is a remote, freelance opportunity with the potential for ongoing collaboration, perfect for artists eager to contribute to a fresh, engaging comic series for a general audience.

Requirements

- Strong portfolio demonstrating comic and cartoon art skills

- Experience developing original characters and visual styles

- Ability to create engaging, family-friendly content (PG-rated)

- Proficiency in digital illustration tools (e.g., Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate)

- Attention to detail in character consistency and background design

- Comfortable working independently and remotely

- Excellent communication and time management skills
