About The Role An author is seeking a mid-level animator to create engaging social media content promoting their fantasy novel. The project involves bringing pre-designed characters and existing storyboards to life through animation. This is a remote position with potential for future collaboration based on project success. Responsibilities:

• Create compelling animated content suitable for various social media platforms
• Animate pre-designed characters following provided storyboards
• Develop smooth and engaging animations that capture the fantasy novel's essence
• Optimize animations for different social media formats and requirements
• Incorporate any necessary special effects or transitions

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating social media content creation
• Proficiency in animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Animate, or similar)
• Experience with short-form content creation for social media platforms
• Ability to maintain consistent character design and style
• Strong understanding of animation principles and storytelling
• Experience working with provided storyboards and character designs
