Freelance Graphic Designer – Ecommerce

Join an exciting project to create custom seamless patterns for a premium children’s pajama brand launching its 2026 holiday collection. This role focuses on designing modern, playful, and boutique-friendly surface patterns for kids’ pajamas made from high-quality bamboo and Tencel fabrics. The ideal designer will bring a clean, hand-drawn aesthetic using solid colors, minimal shading, and styles suitable for children’s apparel printing. You will collaborate closely to deliver unique, on-trend designs that align with the brand’s vision and meet production requirements. Deliverables

• Develop 1–2 main seamless repeating patterns with variations, tailored for children’s pajamas.
• Provide 2–3 initial concept sketches for review and feedback.
• Complete 2–3 rounds of revisions based on client input.
• Deliver final artwork in vector file formats (AI, EPS, SVG), including high-resolution previews and tile examples.
• Ensure all designs are suitable for textile printing and meet technical specifications.
• Adhere to project timelines: initial concepts within 2–4 weeks, with final files delivered promptly after approval.
• Transfer full rights to the client upon final payment under work-for-hire terms.

Requirements

• Proven experience in surface pattern design, especially for textiles, apparel, or children’s products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing seamless and tiling pattern work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and vector-based design.
• Ability to create clean, hand-drawn patterns with solid colors and minimal shading.
• Understanding of print production requirements for apparel.
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
• Availability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Willingness to provide portfolio samples, availability, and pricing in your proposal.
