Freelance Web Designer – Redesign

Join a project focused on enhancing and fixing a WooCommerce WordPress website for a specialty coffee business based in Brussels. This role is ideal for a freelancer with a keen eye for design and technical expertise in WordPress and WooCommerce. The primary objective is to improve the website’s functionality, resolve existing issues, and deliver a refreshed, user-friendly online store. The work is remote and may lead to additional projects in the future. Deliverables

• Audit the current WooCommerce WordPress website to identify design and functionality issues
• Redesign key pages to improve user experience and visual appeal
• Implement fixes for any technical problems affecting site performance or e-commerce functionality
• Ensure the website is responsive and optimized for all devices
• Test all updates to guarantee smooth checkout and browsing experiences
• Provide documentation or recommendations for ongoing site maintenance

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and developing WordPress and WooCommerce websites
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and user experience design
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic PHP for WordPress customization
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first web design
