Senior Web Designer – Film Production

This role is ideal for an experienced web designer with a passion for the film industry and a strong portfolio of visually compelling websites. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a new website for a Barcelona-based film production company, ensuring the site reflects the brand’s creative vision and effectively showcases its portfolio. The position is fully remote, requiring close collaboration with the internal team to understand the company’s identity and translate it into a modern, user-friendly digital experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of user experience, and the ability to manage the full web design process from concept to launch.

Deliverables

- Design and deliver a complete, responsive website tailored to a film production business

- Develop wireframes, mockups, and final design assets for all key pages

- Ensure the website effectively showcases the company’s portfolio and services

- Collaborate remotely with the internal team to capture brand identity and requirements

- Implement best practices for usability, accessibility, and SEO

- Provide guidance on content structure and visual storytelling

- Oversee handoff to development or manage implementation if required

Requirements

- Proven experience designing websites for creative or media-focused companies

- Strong portfolio demonstrating web design expertise and creative vision

- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch

- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design

- Experience collaborating with remote teams and managing client feedback

- Ability to translate brand identity into engaging digital experiences

- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and SEO best practices

- Excellent communication and project management skills

- Availability to work remotely and coordinate with a team based in Barcelona

- Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
