Web Designer - Freelance

This role involves designing and developing a comprehensive multi-page website to showcase a film catalog tailored for university audiences. The project requires transforming an existing service-oriented site into a content-rich platform, featuring approximately 90 catalog pages, each following a consistent information sheet format. The designer will be responsible for creating an engaging home page, about section, services, and contact pages, ensuring all content is optimized for search engines. The position also includes integrating essential tools for site performance monitoring and providing a training session for ongoing site management. Deliverables

• Design and develop a multi-page website (90–100 pages) with a unified layout for film catalog entries
• Create wireframes and prototypes for all key pages
• Implement SEO best practices for all site content and metadata
• Integrate contact forms and ensure user-friendly navigation
• Configure Google Analytics and Search Console for performance tracking
• Deliver a training session for basic site updates and adjustments

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and building large-scale, content-driven websites
• Strong proficiency in web design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and on-page optimization
• Experience integrating analytics and webmaster tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across numerous pages
• Strong communication skills and ability to deliver client training
• Availability for a single project with potential for future work
• Fluency in English
